Hi and thanks for stopping by! I’m a vintage and Y2K dealer based in Cleveland, Ohio. I wanted to share a digital archive of all the brands that I come across. I’ve done my best to provide an accurate date estimate. I use business and copyright/patent records, as well as style and construction of textile to provide expert dating. It’s fun to see how clothing tag designs have changed throughout the years. Give my archive a search.
Each record has a square tag photo taken by me, brand name, date, and any important notes.
Read the date with care.
- Known date*: the date was included within the garment.
- Approximate date: an approximate year or range, when an exact year is unavailable.
- Date unknown: preserved for comparison until more evidence is available.
A label can help narrow a date, but styles may overlap or be reused. Compare construction, care labels, and other garment details before reaching a conclusion.
